Die Peitsche knallt ordentlich, in CLUB NOIR, dem neusten Werk von MASTER COSTELLO. Der Meister hat für diese Ausgabe neben Lilith auch Sabine S. verpflichten können, die schon in ZOPE SOPHIE ihre masochistische Leidenschaft zum Ausdruck bringen konnte. Die akribische Auswahl von Akteurinnen macht zum Großteil den Erfolg dieses Labels aus, denn Costello dreht generell nur mit authentischen, masochistisch veranlagten Darstellerinnen. Dadurch wirkt CLUB NOIR trotz der teilweise unglaublichen Härte und sadistischen Methoden durchaus auch erotisch. Es ist schon eine Kunst, die beiden Komponenten harmonisch zu verbinden, was Costello in CLUB NOIR wieder einmal perfekt gelang. Durch das authentische Wirken der Darstellerinnen und eine brillante Kameraführung ist dieses Werk nicht nur für eingefleischte Costello-Fans empfehlenswert, sondern dürfte auch das Interesse von Neugierigen wecken...
